These services are free and Clarkson residents will be able to access them right in their own neighbourhood. No matter where you’re at with your job search or career path, they can help you take those next steps towards a rewarding future.

The Clarkson Employment Centre is part of a network of organizations funded by Employment Ontario to help people access a wide range of employment and career planning services, including job-search improvement workshops, career counselling, access to job placement, and referrals to apprenticeship and government-funded programs such as Second Career and the Ontario Self-Employment Benefits program. They can help you learn to define your employment goals and create a career plan; develop or improve your resume; improve or practice your interview skills; use the newest job searching techniques and explore how your values and interests might fit with different career paths. Available information and resources include: computers with internet access along with printers, photocopiers, fax machines and scanners; telephones for local and long-distance calls; business directories, books and videos and workshops and special events.
